Cloud backup of 225 gig stops before finished?

Thread needs solution

I'm using the free trial of Acronis Cloud Backup. I have been backing up for several days now. Seems to take longer than needed to back up this data. My NAS backup of this data only takes a few hours. That aside, my backup to the cloud has stopped several times, closes, and no indication of where it left off. I can restart it and it seems to continue where I left off, but I am wondering if I will ever get this backup done?
Maybe I am doing something wrong or not set up correctly?
I have a Win 7 Intel PC with 16 g of RAM and 2 Tb of storage.
Thanks,
Craig

 Hello Craig,

Thank you for posting. I will be glad to assist you with this problem.

You are trying to make a full backup to Acrons Online Storage, but the backup takes too long and fails from time to time. The online backup time depends mostly on your upload speed. The size of your backup is 225 GB and with the upload speed of 500 kbps it should take around 50 days to upload the whole data. By 5 Mbps it can be as fast as 5 days. It is also possible that during the upload period the network connection fails that results into backup failure. Please check the backup log for more details on that.

In case you don't have a fast upload channel and need to have a large full backup uploaded, you should consider using the Initial Seeding Service, that allows you to send us your backup on a hard disk. The subsequent incremental backups will take much less time.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
