Error in the log of ABR 11.5 Exchange
Hi,
I get the following error in the ABR 11.5 managementconsole for Exchange.
I make use of Exchange 2007 on a W2k3x64 server. The Acronis management server is a W2k3x32 server.
The backup (full, or incremental ) takes a very long time, and went stuck at the moment. (Take a look at the screenshot.)
The first backup, and the first incremental backup went ok (exept the MAPI error)
The backup it depends is an mailbox backup.
Is there a solution for this ?

Hi,
- I have installed Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 v6.5.8244.0
- I have no Outlook client installed on the Exchange server
- The backup-user does have a mailbox.
We've got an extra problem now.
The incremental backup is hanging at 3%. Also if I restart the backup / machine.

Therefore, all requirements are met. Unfortunately, I have found no further information on the problem. I would therefore suggest that you open a case in support. Find all available support options in our Customer handbook.
There then the problem can be analyzed and appropriate action can be performed.

Hello everyone,
I also have the same error. I'm threw following steps:
- I have installed the latest MAPI CDO
- I have not installed Outlook on the server
- The administrator starts the backup and he has an exchange profil
I would really fast need a solution for this issue!

Thank you for posting in our forum.
If your environment meets all requirements, like:
- The installed hotfix for your environment;
- A existing mailbox for the administrator with at last on email in it;
- All permissions are set correct;
- You have an Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 for Microsoft Exchange Server / or Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Advanced Server SBS Edition license.
- The Exchange writer for VSS is turned on. In Windows Small Business Server 2003, the writer is turned off by default. For instructions on how to turn it on, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
If all is correct set up and you run into an error, please create a system report of the affected machine and contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.
