Failed to deploy a backup plan

Thread needs solution

For a customer we have implemented Acronis Backup 11.5 and after configuration all worked well.

But after a remote check this week we discovered several issues on the system:

  • Some machines indicate an error, warning or offline state.
  • The backup plan of a backup plan according to a GFS schedule isn't running anymore.
  • The C-drive is completely out of free space.
  • All backup plans refuse to run anymore.

The free space issue on the C-drive (with OS and installed software) is solved a bit by rebooting the VM of the AMS, it released about 6.5 GB of space. But after a while it seems that again the free space is disapperaring slowly. What information is written bij Acronis Backup to the C-drive? All backups are stored on an external NAS, not on the VM system itself. The deduplication information is stored on another partition.

Trying to start a backup plan (no matter which one) manually, nothing happens, but it results in the following entries in the log:

Thank you for your posting! According to the error message, seems that there is not enough space in the SQL database for Acronis Management Server to store new entries. I'd recommend starting with the instructions listed in the article 12857: Acronis Backup Advanced: Large Size of Acronis Database on SQL Server.
