Pre-Sale Question

Thread needs solution

Hello all, I would like a little assistance if possible. The following is the setup I'm needing to backup and I was looking for the best mix of Acronis products to do this:

1. Server 2012 Hyper-V host (full GUI install) with LTO6 drive attached.
2. 2 x Server 2012 VM's
3. 1 x Server 2012 VM with Exchange 2013
4. 1 x Server 2012 VM with SQL

Please let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks, Alastair.

I assume that all VMs are Hyper-V VMs hosted on (1). It depends on do you need agentless backup, granular restore of SQL and granular backup and restore of Exchange.
'Minimal' configuration is Advanced Server for Windows, that allows backup of 4 VM machines on one host, with agents installed inside each machine. ($1400). Agentless backup (Virtual Edition for Hyper-V) will cost $1600.
If you want to back up Exchange data not as the whole server, and recover it in a more convenient way than mounting Excahnge databases from backup, you need http://www.acronis.com/backup-recovery/enterprise.html#agents-microsoft… ($1200), installed inside VM.
For single-pass backup of SQL server and granular recovery, you need additionally https://store.acronis.com/325/purl-abr11_5mssql_en-US ($500 if you already have 'base' license of Advanced Server)
