Problems creating a new recovery task.
Hi,
I've already searched the Forum but didn't find a related topic.
I have a problem with creating a new recovery task. I choose the data which should be recovered an after waiting for about half an hour or even more the software tells me which tapes are needed to restore the missing data. But there is still a marked line saying that I need to choose data for recovery and the OK button is greyed out.
We are using Acronis Backup & Recovery Advanced 11.5 Server with a tapedrive on a Windows 2012 R2 system.
I've attached an showing my problem. Hopefully someone can help me.

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately it did not help, because even if I try to recover a file from the last backup with the corresponding tape still in the cartridge it looks identical. The data was not removed from the database.

Have you tried performing full inventory of tapes? On the attached screenshot tapes are shown as offline, inventory should bring the cassettes online and available for further actions. If inventory failes\tapes don't become online, I'd check the log files for possible clues. Are you using a directly attached tape drive or Acronis Storage Node (ASN) is managing a tape-based vault? In case of Acronis Storage Node you'll need to see logs of ASN too. Agent logs could be viewed in the console directly. ASN logs are stored in
- Windows XP/2003: Documents And Settings\All Users\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\ASN\LogEvents
- Windows Vista/7/2008/2008 R2: ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\ASN\LogEvents
Sometimes, the tape device is the problem. To exclude any issues with the tape device, you may want to update the firmware of tape and run native diagnostic tools (usually could be found on the vendors website) to make sure the device doesn't have any glitches.
If the logfiles will not show any obvious messages, I'd raise a support ticket for more indepth investigation.
Thank you,
