[RESOLVED] Error of add the storadge node
Dear,
I got the error when I add the storage node at management server, the target machine is VM machine, has installed the windows agent remotely , no firewall turn on, the Acronis service is start properly. I will open support case if need.

I am using Acronis backup 11.5 advanced server. Is it include this storage node license or software. I saw some post need to download from Acronis when using v10. Thanks
Do you want to back up that machine or store backups of other machines there?
I want store backups of another machines.
Then install the storage node component (in the installer, select exactly the same check box: Store backups of other machines). But a VM is not the best choice for a storage node, even if it has a physical disk attached.
Yes, I got it. One more question, can I buy another storage node license if I want to install to another server node. Local storage mode license used for attached our tape?

You can install as many storage nodes as you wish without additional licenses:

However, if you want to back up all of your machines to tape, attach the tape device to your single storage node and direct all backups there:

If you want to back up each machine to its own tape device, you do not need a storage node or any additional license. Just follow the instructions:
