Bootable Media Builder will not start
Hello,
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) with SP1
I downloaded the Web update installer from My Account at the Acronis website (AcronisBackup_12_web.exe). Then did the update of Acronis Backup for PC version 11.7 to version 12. Now I have the following version installed:
Web console service: v.12.0.2599
Backup management server: v.12.0.3596
Backup management console: v.12.0.6076
Everything seems to work...so far. However, I cannot get the Bootable Media Builder application to run. I click on the icon and nothing at all happens. According to the Windows Event Viewer, I get the following Application Error report:

-----------------------------------------
It appears that the latest version of Acronis Backup for PC and Microsoft's C++ library do not play well together.
Anybody else seen this problem or had any issues with the Bootable Media Builder application in the latest Acronis Backup for PC version 12?
Chris

Hi,
The MS library MSVCR120.dll is just where exception handler is located, and the error may be caused (most likely) by incorrect update that left some modules from 11.7 . You can try clean install or open support ticked so that we could investigate the problem and fix the root cause, providing crash dump taken as described in https://kb.acronis.com/content/27931.
