upgrade v12.0.3689 (Update3) problems if you use Application Backup Function

All plans are corrupted, and it is necessary to generate new tasks with new files!

I've been using vmprotect for years, and with acronis 12 (5 months) we're having a lot of problems. We are losing confidence and we plan to change it.

Acronis solves problems by creating new plans, but forces us to lose incremental backups, create new files, duplicate local and cloud space.

Hi Javier,

I've searched through our support request system and found only 02914498 opened case submitted by you. In this case there is a problem with backups replication to cloud investigated and from what I can see our support team asked you for additional logs to be uploaded to FTP.

I've not found though reports about the plans corruption issue you mentioned - we've not seen such issues appearing after update from 3622 (previous) to 3689 (latest) build, so this is some new problem which should be investigated separately.

Also you're correct that re-creating a backup plan which had application backup option enabled will enforce full backup creation - that's a bug which we plan to address in the next updates. Though in your case it didn't seem to be necessary to re-create the plans, e.g. it should only be a _workaround_ for the reported backups replication issue which is related to appending changes to existing archive in Acronis Cloud due to specific problems with this archive. Your space duplication concern will be surely addressed after the original problem is solved (this can be discussed with support team managers).

It's really sad to hear that you've run into such problems which are quite rare ones. At this point I can recommend to continue working with our support team to resolve the issues.

i can't edit or revoke plans... and other problems...

i.e error:

TOL: Failed to execute the command. Backup::Assistant::Commands::RemoveResources

POR: Property 'Applications' cannot be found.

I don't know how you can afford this Acronis.
