ABR Lite version Wishlist
Dear Community!
Your opinion is important for us, and we would really appreciate if you could share your opinion with us on the following:
What would you expect to see if there's a lite version of ABR (without AMS, ASN, less features, but remote connection is still possible).
Especially we're interested in what scenarios you would consider to be most common, what GUI would you expect, and what features are a must for such edition.
We're looking forward to your comments! (All of them are going to be forwarded to the Product management team).
Thanks in advance for sharing your opinion with us.

I would expect:
Just one inbuilt back up algorithm possibly GFS or use the chain type from the Home edition.
Personal and local vault locations - no centralized.
No tape provision - but NAS instead.
Change 'convert to virtual' to a solo option rather than part of a backup scheme.
Make the layout more like vmProtect or SnapDeploy 4 with tool 'Actions' in a navigation panel either underneath the 'navigation ' panel or on the right hand side.

Thanks for your input, gentlemen! What would be your common backup/recovery scenarios?
Image/file backup?
Would you you store backups in more than one location?
Would you convert backups to VMs?
Would you require soma access management for your backups/backup locations?
Would you expect disk management operations to be present or you use Windows disk management and nothing else is needed?
What security would you expect?
Would you use image mounting?
Do you export backups?
What recovery scenarios do you have?
etc.
Again, thanks a lot for sharing your opinion.

1. I only perform full disk or partition images.
2. Possibly, but I've only used this once.
3. Yes.
4. Yes.
5. Unsure, I rarely use this, but there have been occasions when I have. The ability to attach/mount a VM (possibly a choice alongside standard tib mounting) would be useful even if DD itself was no longer present.
6. Basic Encryption and password protection.
7. Yes.
8. No, ability to export and import tasks would still be useful though.
9. Full disk and partition recovery.
