Trying to recover a file from a backup. At different points in ths recovery process ABR crashes. Event manager shows the following event each time:

Faulting application ManagementConsole.exe, version 10.0.0.10287, faulting module fox.dll, version 2.0.0.3, fault address 0x00008e7d.

MS Server 2003 SP2 Acronis ABR 10 (the Agent says ABD10 build 10,287)

Any recommendations?

To extract single file (or several files, but not thousands of them) from the backup that is not in a managed vault, you can doubleclick the .tib file in windows explorer and copy/paste the file. This will not involve console that crashes in your case. If it's a disk backup you can also mount it and work with it like with a regular disk. In order to fix crash of the console during the recovery you need to upgrade to the latest build i.e. 13762 , this may be fixed in this version.
