Acronis Backup and Recover 10 Agent for ESX/ESXi Virtual Appliance and vSphere 5

I've just downloaded a copy of VMWare 5.0 and ABR11 seems to be connecting and backing up fine for me... I am using the latest build of ABR11 though (Build 17318) so perhaps ABR10 does not support it... Either way I would strongly sugest ensuring you are running ABR10 build 13762 to ensure you have the latest build/version of the Virtual Appliance installed (you will need to manually updated the VA once you have the new ABR10 build installed on your backup server).

Please let us know how you go and if you find ABR10 to also work with the new VMWare 5.0

Version 11.5 supports it.
Can you clarify second part of your question? Is it possible to backup VMs with snapshots or are snaphots used while backing up VMs?

My question is : If I can do the backup if my VMs have Snapshots because I found some backup tools that don´t support VMs with snapshots when I start backups.
What you recommend as a tool to backup VMs running on vSphere 5.1.

Backup & Recovery 11.5 Virtual Edition doesn't have such limitation and as I said, it supports vSphere 5.1.

Thanks for confirming this by the way. So far, were there issues with using 5.1?
