Did you ever find out if Acronis Backup and Recover 10 Agent for ESX/ESXi Virtual Appliance is compatiable with vSphere 5

Hello Aaron,
Unfortunately, Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Virtual Edition does not support VMware vSphere 5 at the moment. For the list of supported versions of VMware ESX/ESXi see Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Support for VMware ESX/ESXi.

I wanna ask if Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 support vSphere 5.1 or not and if the backup works on VMs with Snapshots
Thank you

No - from http://dl.acronis.com/u/pdf/ABR10VE_installguide_en-US.pdf -
(Supported operating systems)
...
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for ESX/ESXi
* VMware ESX Infrastructure 3.5 Update 2+
* VMware ESX/ESXi 4.0 and 4.1
Version 11.5 supports it.
Can you clarify second part of your question? Is it possible to backup VMs with snapshots or are snaphots used while backing up VMs?

My question is : If I can do the backup if my VMs have Snapshots because I found some backup tools that don´t support VMs with snapshots when I start backups.
What you recommend as a tool to backup VMs running on vSphere 5.1.
thank you

Backup & Recovery 11.5 Virtual Edition doesn't have such limitation and as I said, it supports vSphere 5.1.

Thanks for confirming this by the way. So far, were there issues with using 5.1?
