Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Server setup start failed due to a Runtime C++ error
Trying to install ABR_11 (build 17438) onto a WINDOWS SBS SERVER 2011
Setup.exe run as Administrator
Checked the forum & kb no other has the same runtime issue with an ABR installation on a server.
On the same server I've successfully installed Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced.

Check the builds of C++ 2005 Redistributable. Latest should be 8.0.61001
If you have installed a newer version, maybe you need to uninstall it first. Be aware of other software in need of other builds!
Yes file signature is OK.

I've downloaded the file twice, my first thought was an error in DL file...
As for the the MS Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable:
I've both the 32 and 64 version 8.0.61001
But I've also MS Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable 10.0.30319
How can I check which one the setup is invoking? Maybe this is the problem...

File signature doesn't matter. Check if 'digital signatures' tab is there and Acronis digital signature displays 'this signature is valid' when you click on 'details'. But most likely it's not, because size of 17437 installer is around 800 MB for standalone version or 1300 MB for advanced. Maybe some smart proxy continues to serve you this partial file.

I'm still convinced that it's a problem of the C++ Runtime on the setup, but I cannot uninstall the 2005 or 2010 version.
I'm going to try the install pack on a bran new virtual machine to see if it's working.
Now it's working... so it was the file in the end!;)))
Still got some 0x errors on impossibility of adding the machine itself on the management (localhost)
Probably need to reboot the server, even if no alert displayed about that at the end of the installation.
