Acronis Backup & Recovery bootable media

Hi,

I have installed ABR 11 on Windows 2008 R2 server. Its a standalone server. I want to recover the OS when there is a disaster or when OS crashes. I have created a bootable media from Tools option.
The ISO image created has only 360MB space. But an OS usually should be minimum 3 - 4 GB.
Will i be able to recover the OS with 360MB ISO image?
Am i taking the backup properly?

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here. I understand your concern, and will be glad to help you.

The bootable media you've created is not a backup, but a bootable version of Acronis Product. So in case of a crash you could boot from that CD, and perform a recovery.

In order to create an image, please follow these instructions, and store the backup to any suitable location. In case of a disaster you will need to follow the recovery scenario.
