Acronis B&R 10: Can't connect to Administration Console

Thread needs solution

Hello all,

I have Acronis B&R 10 running on a Windows SBS 2008. It worked fine until I tried to connect to the Administration Console today to check some logs.

When I started the Administration Console to connect to localhost (Server and Administration Console are installed on the same System) I got the following error (see attached Screen shot).#

As far as I can say there has nothing changed on the system since the last time the Administration Console worked (I can't say for sure because it's a system that runs not in our house, but at a customer of ours).

I'd be glad if someone could help me with this.

Btw, the build is rather old (looks like the initial release of B&R 10 or Update 1, while the last one is Update 5). The error itself mean that obtaining some information from WMI failed. I'd start from WMIdiag - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7684 - and troubleshooting WMI errors if any are found.
