Acronis B&R Virtual Edition - Management Console can't see any virtual machines

Hi,

I've set up B&R Virtual Edition. The Licence Server and Management Console are running OK on the same server.

I've deployed the ESX Agent Virtual Appliance to the same ESX host. It seems to have deployed correctly - it shows up in the Licence Server and no errors are present in the Agent's console.

But in the Management Console, nothing is listed under Virtual Machines or All Virtual Machines. I've tried refreshing, rebooting, restarting services etc.

From the Management Console server I can ping the Agent VA, but otherwise I can't see any network traffic from the Agent VA when I try to refresh the list of VMs. It's like the Management Console can't find any VA.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I sorted this one out myself. I just had to add the physical machine that the VA was running on.
As a beginner with Acronis, I naively thought things might be intuitive, so when I deployed the VA and provided the user name, password etc., I expected the VA to show up in the AMS. Can't imagine why one would want to deploy a VA, but not have that ESX host appear in the console...
