Acronis Remote install

Thread needs solution

I have been trying to do this i got a lab setup

Windows 2003R2 SP2 i got installed the Console here
Windowos XP which is the target machine i want to install my agent

Both machines are on Active directory

so i click on tools on the console and install acronis componets
1-I put the license server ip
2- i select the licence from the list
3-I specify the installation component( i browse in the server for the installation folder( i just got 2 msis in the folder i mean like here C:/Acronis in that folder i got the windows agent and the tray monitor msi) so i select the one i want from the list
4-I do register on the managment console server now: i and fill in the credentials which are the domain admins credentials
5-Ill select the machine from the network and i click the xp machine( i also tried putting jsut the IP )
6-I fill in the credentials to access the machine with admin rights for the target machine.
7-I test the connection for that machine and it says connection succesfull
8-In the next tab i do create anew account which are for the machine services to start
9-I click proceed

And it failed to install
Wheni click on details it says installation fail

If i look at the logs fo the console there is nothing in there...
If i look on the target machine nothing happened.. i looked if the Acronis Service was installed but it wasnt...
I check on event viewer for the Windows 2003 machine or the XP target machine and i see nothing about this..

i Fallow all this

Hello Carlos,

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to assist you.

If possible, please install the program locally on the remote machine and if it fails, kindly get back to me with the .msi log and Windows system information file from that machine.

On the other hand, if local installation is successful that means that there is a problem with the remote installation. Since the KB article that you refer to did not help, please contact our Support team so that we can properly investigate and resolve the problem.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hello Anton
That would be a problem
ill explain you my issue
my company is a local distributor of acronis
Our regional account manager gave us the licese keys to test all the products, so we can do labs or do demo presentation to our clients

Now the thing is that we cant register those Keys because someone else did that already... which means there is no way i can do any support case even if we are acronis distributors?

At least with other brands we sell, we dont have that problem, as partners we get support.
I already email my regional account manager telling him that we cant do any support case for that reason.
So now all i got its this support forum to ask technical support questions

You see the trouble i have?

Acronis should have like a partner portal in which partners can create technical support cases, or you already have that?

Cheers

Hello Carlos,

Thank you for replying.

You are right, those license keys cannot be registered because they are keys used for testing purposes.

I checked our internal system and if I am not mistaken, you have an issue accessing our Partner Portal. I sent an e-mail to the regional account manager about this situation and as soon as he responds, I will get back to you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
