Advanced Server Backup Policy Deployment

Thread needs solution

Hi there, I am testing Backup & Recovery Advanced Server through the trial version.

I have deployed the agent to a couple of computers, and I am able to connect to them remotely through the Manage Machines section. I have the AMS running on Windows Server 2008, and agents on Windows 7, Windows XP & Windows Server 2003.

I have created a Vault that is stored on a File Server and has the DB stored locally, and a Backup Policy that backs up to that destination.

When I try to Apply it to the workstations, I am getting the following errors:

I get this all the time...

Sometimes I need to reinstall the Acronis Agent.
Sometimes I need to restart the MMS and Agent services on the agent computer.
Sometimes I need to remove the computer from AMS and add it again.

Who knows what really is the direct fix but most times I just do it all just for fun since Acronis support is usually no help.

This error could have been caused by several reasons, so we will need to take a closer look at  the issue. I would appreciate if you could kindly provide me with following information

  1. The build number of the product
  2. exact sequence of actions that lead to the problem you report, so that we could reproduce it
  3. - Download AcronisInfo
    - Run the downloaded file.

    The gathered information will be put in AcronisInfo.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.

    This information will allow us to take a closer look at the Acronis product state and logs.

Please kindly contact us directly with the info gathered, it will help us to identify the exact reason of the problem and provide you with the solution.

If the issue is with Backup & Recovery 10 - no updates for it will be released. Upgrade to version 11 and if issue persists, contact support.
