Anybody got the "Disaster Recovery Plan" option working?
(Environment: Acronis BR ver 11)
I haven't had this feature work yet.
Problem is, since this is included in my backup plan, and when this portion of it fails, it tries the whole plan all over again, creating a chain of duplicate (unnecessary) backups.
Anybody know any "gotchas" that I might want to check regarding making this option work?
(For now, I have just disabled/unchecked the "error handling" and "task failure handling" options in my plans, as I don't need multiple backups for every single day.)
Would be nice to see this thing in action.
Actually, I did see it work once.
On one of my backup plans, I had inadvertently pointed the backups to a network share (as opposed to a centralized vault), and the DR plan portion actually completed. Once I pointed it to the centralized vault, it failed :-(
No biggie anyway, because it doesn't look there is anything in that report that I can't find in the manual.
Upgrading to build 11.0.17438 seems to have done the trick for me !!!
