Backup of Drive Always Fails

Thread needs solution

I've tried backing up this particular drive multiple times over the last few days. It is a 320GB hard drive from my workstation, but It always gets to 99% then fails with the same error.

My backup settings are:
Custom
Differences from the default values:
Volume Shadow Copy Service: Create snapshots without using VSS

Backup priority: High

Ignore bad sectors: On

And here is a copy of the error report

Hello Chris,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the forum. I will definitely help you with this issue.

This error message could indicate that there is an issue with the hard drive. Could you run chkdsk /r and try saving the backup to a different location, an internal hard drive maybe? This will help us to localize the problem.

If checkdisk does not help please collect the following reports and contact our Support team for additional troubleshooting:

1. AcronisInfo report.

2. Acronis report.

If you have additional questions please let me know.

Thank you.
