Backup fails after upgrade från ABR10 to ABR11 Adv Server SBS

Thread needs solution

I have run ABR10 for quite some time to backup a SBS without any problems.
A few days ago i did upgrade to ABR11 and after that my backups will not work.

I get the following messages in the log. Any clues?

Hello Pär,

Thank you for your posting.

The most possible reason for this message is the used VSS Provider. Please go to your backup tasks, that you have already running (now with this error) and change there in the options section the VSS Provider setting from default to 'Hardware - Software - System Provider'.

Also ensure, that the Acronis VSS Provider Service is set to manual starttype and not to disabled. See more information in this article (from older build) in our Knowledge Base.
