Kenton,

What build of ABR10 are you using?

Has this suddenly started happening?

Are you imaging directly to an internal/external drive or via a network or NAS?

Are there any error messages in the log file?

The 42% is that at the imaging stage, consolidation or validation....?

Despite the message, does an image or part of an image actually get made?

Have you checked the destination disk for errors?

Are you saying that right clicking on the task and selecting Delete does not delete the task and archive?

Its version 12457 virtual edition, this is a physical machine though
I have not had a hung backup before, Im thinking maybe something happened where it lost connectivity with the host
Imaging is done to a nas box on the network
I see no errors in the log, the last log message was "saving partition structure"
I dont know how to tell if an individual image was made, this is on a centralized vault so I dont think i can see individual images
I havent checked the destination for errors simply because it has been doing all my other backups with no problems
I cannot right click the task and select delete, it is grayed out. The only option is stop and that doesnt work.

Hello Kenton and Colin!

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue, and for your comments! Colin, thank you for help.

Kenton, have you tried to go to Task Manager (Right click on the Taskbar -> Task Manager) -> Processes and stop Schedul2 service? This should stop the stalled task and allow you to perform task zap.

I would also advise you to gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number. The tasks doesn't hang for no reason, so this situation requires investigation.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
