Backup Plans not working on Hyper-V
Everytime I try to backup my VMs in Hyper-V Acronis stops the backups with following error.
I tried to create a new backup plan, but still get the same error.

This issue could occur if the license assignment was lost, you can check it by connecting to the remote agent and clicking on Help->About. If the license is not shown, you can click on Change license and assign the license that you were using previously.
Also, the licenses are assigned to a host, so if you moved your virtual machine to a different host, the same problem could occur.

I had this issue already several times: we are running a server with hyper-v and 3 VMs (2 Windows Server 2008 R2 and 1 Windows SBS 2008). Backups are going well during several weeks, and without any change to the setup, they start to fail with reason "There is no license required for the following functionality:
'FEATURE_ABR_VIRTUAL_AGENT_HV' ". . I uninstalled the software completely, and reinstalled it again. It works for some weeks, but then ... same problem again.
Now I followed the suggestion of Anton: on "help - about" there is a license key present. What now ?
What do you mean with "connecting to the remote agent " ? ABR11 Virtual Edition works "using agent-less backup" - I installed the software in the Hyper-V environment, and want to make backups of all VMs from there (without installing agents on the VMs).
Desperately waiting for a solution.
In this case 'remote agent' means 'agent for hyper-v' that is installed on the host. If you connected to the host and in 'help-about' there was a license key, you've done it. If you try to create a new backup plan, does it display a warning that 'some of selected items can be backued up to online storage only' or like this?
Meanwhile I had contact with Acronis support. This time I had someone with the right level of expertise ... :-) and we managed to solve the issue.
We initially installed also the License Server - it seems that AMS (Management Server) also has a built-in licenseserver. This can lead to a conflict.
The support-engineer uninstalled the License Server, and reconfigured the agent to use the AMS as licenseserver .
After this, backups are OK again.
I asked them to provide some feedback on the forum and in the KB.
