Cannot find archive on external hard disk

Hi,

I have configured a vault on an external hard disk and hard disk is attached to a server installed with storage node. Server images has been sucessfully backup-ed to the vaiult. I am now trying to restore the image from the external hard disk to another physical server. I attached the external hard disk to the another physical server and booted with Acronis rescue disk, however, when i tried browsing for the archives on the external hard disk, there wasn't any.

Is it necessary to export the images as TIB file before recovery? Pls advise.

What kind of vault? If it was a centralized managed vault on the storage node, you can't just plug this disk into another computer and restore it using rescue media. You should leave the disk with the vault in the machine with storage node, boot from rescue media, then select archive in the centralized vault as described in p.9 here http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/#13655.html

How should I configure it then should I need it to work when plug to another computer. It works if I export the image to TIB, however would be too tedious to export every each of the server image. I am in the midst of testing out DR plan.
