credential storage broken

Thread needs solution

hi,
i kind of had credential cache working, but it broke itself over the weekend. the only way i could get it to save credentials was to make sure the option was enabled *before* adding a vault. otherwise, it would not properly store the username/password and keep prompting.

now, it is doing the same thing and keeps prompting every time the management console is opened.
of course i am entering the correct username/password, and it lets me in once i enter them. it's just that the registry entries created in HKCU\Software\Acronis\CredCache don't seem to be valid.

i would try deleting/readding the vault. except that i just waited 2 months for a proper monthly backup to be taken and i don't want to break that again in the process.

thanks,
-matt

Issue resolved here.

after a dozen tries i figured it out...
there was an invalid registry/cache entry being created. after letting each 'part' of the vault's credentials be cached (3 total entries), i deleted all but the one containing 'arl'.
then i tried going to the vault and let it prompt me for the credentials.
after exiting and reopening the console, it works. there are only 2 entries under HKCU\Software\Acronis\CredStorage now. (arl and avfs)
so the software is creating an invalid entry. hopefully this is fixed in a later release...?
