custom log view date range/period

My log viewing date range always goes back to 04/19 --> 04/19, so I cannot ever see current logging without playing with the date range. This is for tasks on the AMS console. If I close and view logs for another task it goes back to 04/19 --> 04/19.

Can this be configured differently by me?
