Disc Clonning Help using Acronis Backup & Recovery Advanced Workstation

Thread needs solution

Everyone,

I've tried a few times to clone a bootable working drive to a second drive with larger space and the entire process is completed successfully, but the second drive will not boot.

I did make the second drive active.
I tried sector by sector copy
I tried to copy the NT Signature
I disconnected the source drive to ensure the second could boot by itself.

I've tried almost anything, and I would expect this version of Acronis to do this very simple task at the very least so I can schedule a proper backup plan and be assured that I can recover in the future. A good back up plan is as good as a good recovery.

Any white paper or guide on how to clone drives using Acronis Backup & Recovery Advanced Workstation ?

I also purchased a license for the Deduplication and Universal Restore.

Thank you.

Carlos
