error code:502,and i can't clone my hard disk

hi everyone

please i need your help.

I have true image 2009,latest version.

i have problem please:

 

i have external hard disk with caddy enclosure.

 

i formatted the hard disk,created full backup C drive,has succeeded.

 

i tried to validate the c drive back up,on the external drive,i received an error:

 

1-information 23/08/2009 09:32:04 operation backup validate started

2-information 23/08/2009 09:32:04 validation backup archive location M:\my backup.tib

3-information 23/08/2009 09:32:04 pending operation3 started(validate backup archive)

4-X(red circle with cross inside)error: 09:39:48 operation with partition "0-0" was terminated.[details]the archive is corrupted(0X70020)

 

5-error operation has completed with error.

the backup of my c Drive on my external hard drive is fine,because it say:

23/08/2009:pending operation 135 started"started partition structure"

operation has succeeded

 

please:how is the backup succeeded,and the archive had error?

another problem:i can't clone my c drive to the hard disk enclosure(usb interface),i can't click on proceed,because it is (dimmed)

 

kindly can you please help me about these problems ,and thank you so much all for your help in advance.

This is the reply i received from acronis technical support about my problem:please follow everything:

As you have mentioned that you were unable to clone your hard drive and the backup validation completed with errors, I would request you to please try that using the Acronis Bootable Media. I am providing you with the multi parameter bootable media that will give you some advance options at the start up. Please use this boot media to clone your hard drive and validate your backup and let us know the results. You can download the boot media from the following link:

http://download.acronis.com/sl/higyofrwepwqdwrcswfq/support/ISO/26/TrueImage9796_multiparam_Standard_english_il.iso

Please Note: This link is valid for a maximum of 5 attempts and up to 2 weeks. You can also download the latest build and updates by logging in to your account at www.acronis.com/my.

Please burn the ISO file on a CD/DVD and use it to boot in to your system.

 

I am going to follow everything step by step.hopefully this will help you
