Errors Delete Volume

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis Backup and Recover 11 (build 11.0.17438) on Dell Latitude E5520 using an Advanced 512E drive. In using the Disk Management tools from a thumb drive PXE boot media I ran the Delete Volume and the following error list details appeared while the task attempted to: "Applying the changes..."

Code: 9,764,884(0x950014)
LineInfo: oxD959F80CF9ECC443

Module: DiskBundleEx_glx_pic
Message: Applying has failed.

Code: 1,051,649(0x100C01)
LineInfo:0x75DD431355A9400D;

Module: DiskBundleEx_glx_pic
Message: The Weak pointer has expired.

LineInfo: 0x932521C3753E2170;

In searching the support center page with the error codes I get the "We are sorry" page. I also searched all three codes separately and found the "We are sorry" page.

Any ideas Customer Central Experts? Thanks everyone in advance. It would be a bummer to build 34 laptops manually.

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for posting your question.

Your error message can occur, because of the UEFI partition on your volume. In general, I suggest using Acronis Snap Deploy 4.0 when preparing 34 laptops. Using this product, you create a master image that you then easily deploy on the target machines.

Please keep in mind, that for every machine, you deploy, backup or restore needs a separate product license. Find more about in Online Help. Compared both, the price per license for Acronis Snap Deploy 4.0 is less than for Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Workstation.

If you need immediate assistance, please contact Acronis support. Find more information in our Customer Handbook.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
