Fail When Recovering Volume/Disk to New VM

Thread needs solution

Hi Guys,

I have problem when try to recover my backup data to new VM. Let me tell you about my customer Environment.

  1. One Physical Server - For AMC, AMS, Storage Node (Acronis 11.7 - Universal License)
  2. One Physical Server - HyperV (2 VM) :
    1. CAS ServerMailbox Server
    2. Physical Server - Hyper V
  3. One Physical Server - HyperV (For Recovery Destination Test)
  4. One Storage (Managed Centralized Vault : with Network Sharing)

I Have succeed Backup Job for both of my VM. Next, I try to restore CAS Server to Third Hyper-V Server (New VM). When I create the task and job running for couple second and got an error :  You can see on attachment image.

Hello Gustri,

Thank you for your posting! According to the error message the operation cannot be performed because the Agent used for recovery does not have a license assigned. Are you restoring the backup using a bootable media or an Agent for Windows\Hyper-V? Please provide more information on how you are restoring the backup.
