Failed to Update Backup and Recovery from 11133 to 11345: Error 06442537

Thread needs solution

Trying to install new Update Build 11345 quits with Error 06442537, Sub-Error: 01603.
This concerns the Management Console.

The Update of the Agent was successful.

I believe there was a comment a while back that explained there were upgrade issues with build 11133 and this was why it was pulled/not made available. You could modify the download URL to include that version number and obtain it however.

Thanks for the comment, but can't find that comment ... also don't understand your sentence "... modify download URL ..." - sorry.

@Acronis:
If i try to install "AcronisStandaloneManagementConsole.msi" (extracted from installer) i get a message " ... can not install, because the product is installed for the use of only one user ... de-install Acronis Backup Recovery 10 Standalone Management Console 10.0.11133 manually and try to install again ..." (thereabout ... because the text is in german).

So .. ok, i could try this, but what about my backup tasks? Will the plans be lost or still available after installing Build 11345?

What I meant about modifying the URL was simply copying the download link from one version, i.e.

https:///?BackupRecoveryAdvanced.11xxx_s_uk.exe

and modifying it to read:

https:///?BackupRecoveryAdvanced.11133_s_uk.exe

This allowed me to download the version of the software that got pulled because of software update issues. It was still on the server but the links have been changed back to the previous version.

Although for the record I was running this build and was able to update to the new Update 1 release without any errors at all.

Dear Michael, I would like to assure you that should you manually remove the Management Console the tasks won't be lost. Actually Management Console is responsible only for managing the process - all the tasks scheduled are stored in a folder on the C: drive as scripts. So not backup plans will be erased in case you manually delete the Management Console.

I would appreciate if you could kindly updated us regarding this issue.

Dear Howard, thank you for your valuable comments. I would just like to add that should we remove the download links from the website or change them to another version - it means that the previous link cannot be trusted and highly not recommended for usage.
