File size of tib files

Thread needs solution

We have a server with Vmware in which we have formed 4 virtual servers.

A day to the week we realized a complete backup of each one of the servers and the rest of the days of the week we realized a copy differential

This server is a file server and the complete copy occupies 200 GB. in the file tib that generates Acronis.

The rest of the days of the week, the diferential copy, occupies between 2 and 5 GB in the file tib of acronis.

Occasionally it happens that the copy differential occupies 35 GB. or up to 70 GB in the file tib.

If I review the archives that have modified from the explorer of Windows they do not appear archives of that size that have been modified.

Also I have not tried to review the file either tib with the explorer of logical Windows but not encounter of the anomalous growth of that file tib.

My doubt considers in the sense of in that way works acronis in copies differentials.

If a folder of Windows occupies for example 10 GB. and a single file of that folder modifies, in which way behaves Acronis, only copying the modified file or copying the complete folder again?

Answering the last question - definitely - it will back up only modified file.
Large differentials may be created if defragmentation or some other 'housekeeping' activities like indexing are run.
