Find Task ID so I can delete using schedmgr.exe

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have an old backup plan that i would like to delete but the option is greyed out. The option is available to disable it but that does nothing.

The plan only appears when i connect to the local machine, not to the AMS.

I have a copy of schedmgr.exe and have a list of tasks with ID but I want to know how to match the plan name in the ABR console to the task ID in the schedmgr.exe output...

I do not want to do a taskzap because there is another active working plan.

Thanks

If they are scheduled to run in different time, I'd run full schedmgr report (schedmgr get report > schedreport.txt ) and match the schedule (or last run time). Other place to look for guids is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\TasksStorage ( or C:\ProgramData\Acronis\... for OSes later than XP)

schedmgr reference http://kb.acronis.com/content/1859 , don't download it if it already exists in C:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\

Thanks for the tip. Based on the run time, I deleted 5 tasks. (they all had the same 'last modified date' too)

However I still see the plan in the console. I've restarted the Acronis scheduler service.

The TasksStorage folder contains files that have GUID's that match the tasks I deleted. Is it safe to delete these files?

I'd say it's safe to delete files from TasksStorage correspoding to the deleted tasks. However the plans you see won't be affected by it - they are stored in the database that is updated when plans are created or deleted on the Management Server. You may try removing the machine from Management Server and adding it back.
