hi,

i wish to get a file list of an archive that includes file paths, file names and modified/created stamps. I know how to examine an archive. However, other than taking a million screenshots i see no easy way to get the file contents in an archive for analysis.

also, i'm not in a position where I can restore the image to a vacant PC.

does anyone have any ideas?

dev-anon, mount as a disk? If you mean can I look at the contents of the directories of the archive in a Windows Explorer environment, yes.

However, i can't use DOS to move to the location of the archive, so I can't do something like this:
dir /s > myFiles.txt

No, I'm not talking about browsing it in Explorer. There must be command in trueimage itself called 'Mount', and then it's mounted as a disk with new letter, visible from command line, etc. It should work for image archives, not sure about file archives.
