Hardware Requirements For Backup & Recovery Workstation Standalone w/ Universal Restore ?
I'm planning on purchasing Acronis Backup and Recovery Workstation Standalone with Universal Restore and I will be using it exclusively from either the Linux based Recovery CD or from a BartPE Disk. I notice that there are no processor or memory requirements listed in the webpage literature. My hardware is several years old and I would like to know that it will run on my pc. Since I cannot create a recovery CD from the Trial version, could someone from Acronis please tell me what the minimum and recommended processor and memory requirements are for the programs and recovery CD's? Thanks.

Yana,
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I followed your link to the User's Guide to see if there was more info than what you pasted into your post, but there was no mention of processor requirements in the User's Guide. I am intending to use the software on a Pentium 4 - 2.4 GHz. (Okay, okay you can stop laughing now. It still works, just a little slow. :-)
Will it run properly on this CPU?

Dear BackItUp,
Thank you for specifying.
Very nice CPU, I don't think we'll encounter any issues with it. Anyway I'd suggest you to test the solution before making a decision. The demo version is here. You actually can create a Bootable Media with the help of it, but it will have a limitation: no backup operations are available.
Nevertheless you will be able to check whether it is running on your machine without any problems!
Let me know if something's confusing you. I will be glad to help!
Thank you.
