how to view iSCSI backup data

I would like to view Acronis backup files in several iSCSI devices on my network, just to verify they exist and are valid.

I have a NAS device (manufactured by QNAP) that allows several iSCSI partitions to be created for use by multiple users. All users are using Acronis Backup and Recovery v.10 to back up their laptops.

I need the ability to view the data in these partitions from my computer, but I cannot simply connect to them using iSCSI in windows because it corrupts or erases the data. Only the original computer that created the iSCSI volume can connect safely.

However if I boot my computer using Acronis Backup and Recovery boot media, I can at least attach to any iSCSI partition and view the names of the backup files in it without destroying it.

I am looking for a utility that I can use (in windowsXP preferably) to do at least what the Acronis Boot Media allows me to do.
