Layer has disconnected from peer.

Usually this issue is related to the virtual machines, and resolved by following these steps. But since your computer doesn't have VM installed, this situation requires investigation.

Please gather: 

1. Acronis Info from the problem machine
2. Exact sequence of steps performed

I have the same problem but I use virtual machines.

Version of Acronis is 10.0.0.12497 and all dlls have the same version,

I have update to 10.0.12708 version with the same error result. It always happens with a clean task.

As you can see I'm using the german version of Acronis but believe me, it's prompting the same in german then written by Ron Vichar. :)

I'm using MGMNT Server Build 10.0.12708 inside a virtual Maschine and tried backing up a physical one.

I have the same problem...

Using ABR 11.5 latest 43916.

This is happening on a linux VM running on Oracle VM. The backup runs perfectly fine but the validation is reporting that it failed due to:
