License File not accepted

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I'm having problems with an SBS Instalation we inherited as a support client.
The installation appears to have lost the License keys, and will not accept them when trying to re-add them.

"Code: 18,022,411(0x113000B)
LineInfo: 0x1BF9AE41893052F3;

Message: Failed to import the license key.

Code: 18,022,409(0x1130009)
LineInfo: 0x62D160307CD0D02E;

Message: Failed to add the license key."

I have re-downloaded the serial text files - but get the same error message. The KB doesn't come up with anything worthwhile ....

I have restarted the Acronis Managed Machine Service etc but no joy.

Any help would be appreiciated.

I have a Seagate USB back up drive.  When I was using the drive to back up the PC, I read about the full product upgrade, I thought it would be a good idea to buy the upgrade.  I received the upgrade information from a company named Clearbridge which included a license key.  I have spent many hours trying to load the software and register it with Acronus.

This has been one of the most exasperating exercises I have encountered as an IT and Telecommunications Professional in 52 years of installing firmware, software and equipment upgrades.  

I keep receiving error messages indicating that it is an invalid license code.   I tried the chat line and was told that I didn't have the full product that I was lead to believe that I bought.  The chat support person said that I would have to buy the full product license for $49.95.

What is this all about?  The Acronis case number is 03274217.  The Clearbridge order confirm and product key doesn't mention anything about this update not being a full upgrade.

Thank you for your posting! To be able to activate the Upgrade serial number of Acronis True Image 2018, you'll need to have Seagate DiscWizard installed and activated on your PC. See https://kb.acronis.com/content/1836 more more information. 

If the issue persist, please send Acronis system report from your PC for investigation. In Acronis True Image 2018 choose to start a trial period (to access the menu pane). Then send us a feedback with Acronis system report as described here.
