Managed Machine Services stops

Thread needs solution

Hi,

Since 2 days the service Managed Machine Services stops 2 seconds after its started.
I've already reinstalled the product twice, repaired it a few times. But the service keeps stopping giving the message Acronis Managed Machine Service is unavailable.

Any ideas on what to do?

Thank you for your reply. I have the acronisinfo file attached. I couldnt submit an case because the product isn't registered to my account but to our customer. I hope you have enough information from the file, if not please let me know.

Nate, you didn't specify so I'll assume you're using ABR11. I had this same issue with the first build of ABR11. However, the latest build (17318) does not seem to have the problem. Are you using the latest build?

I have this same issue with two systems that have been upgraded to the latest build (17318). Both worked before. Now the service stops almost immediately. I did a complete uninstall and reinstall and have tried multiple login accounts.

I've had the same issue, and was sent the upcomming build 17345. That didn't solve the problem either.

The solution in my case was to manually clean up after ABR, since an uninstall doesn't do what an uninstall should do. (Acronis, may I suggest a removal tool?)

If you've tried several installastions you'll probable have multiple Acronis Agent Users, so first uninstall ABR and restart the computer. Then remove all Acronis Agent Users from the system, and delete all folders created by Acronis. There are several of them, depending on your OS, so make sure you get them all.

Then, at your own risk, remove all references to Acronis from the registry and restart the computer again.

After doing this I was able to install and use ABR without any issues.

the acronis managed machine services keeps stopping and im using ABR10... anyone know how to resoved this issue?

I resolve Acronis issues by reinstalling the known universe, and then I have all new issues.
It never ends, this product is a black hole.
