no PXE Option available on Bootable Media Builder

Thread needs solution

Hello,
a few month ago I installed Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 build 11639 on my Win 7 PC an I could create a bootable Image with Bootable Media Builder to my Acronis PXE Server an all worked fine. Now I installed Acronis Disk Director 11 and now I could not create a bootable Image zo the PXE Server. The option PXE Server is not available any more. I only can create CD ISOs.
How can I push the ISO to the PXE Server??

thanks

PXE server cannot push an ISO, it has its own bootable component which are configured during settings. You can have only Agent options to perform recovery not an ISO of other software

hello,
i think you did not understand my problem.

first step: i installed Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 build 11639 pxe server and license server and Acronis Backup & Recovery Management Module on a windows 2003 std server.
secound step: i installed Acronis Backup & Recovery Management Module and Bootable Media Builder on my Client PC.
third step: now the bootable media builder hat the option to create a iso file to create a cdrom or to push the bootable media to the PXE Server.
fourth step: i installed Acronis Disk Director 11 on my client an now there is no option anymore to create the bootable medio on the PXE Server

Andreas

Hello all,

Thank you for posting.

Anubhav,

Thank you very much for your help.

Andreas,

I will definitely assist you.

It is very possible that this a known issue in our software from the way you describe it. We do not have any reports about it in our internal system. I will submit this problem to our Testing lab and as soon as it is reproduced, I will provide you with an update.

As a workaround, you can uninstall Acronis Disk Director 11 from the client machine, re-install just the media builder for Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 - please check this post for instructions and this should fix the initial issue.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
