Hi all,
I use Acronis Backup and Recovers Server 11 build 17437 and Acronis Virtual Appliance for backing up virtual machines. One of the virtual machines requires to stop a database service before backup and to start it after backup. I assume neither the pre nor the post command is performed successfully. The post command to start the service throws an error

' fehlgeschlagen.

The script exists as well at the Acronis Management Server as at the virtual machine to backup.
Is there any hint what the problem could be and how to solve it?

Virtual appliance can't invoke scripts within virtual machine. The error message states that it tries to locate the script on the file system of appliance itself. If the database is not VSS-compatible you have to install the Agent for Windows within virtual machine and work with it like with a physical one.
