Problems importing machines

Thread needs solution

I have had problemes trying to install the machine agents with the console. The console couldn't install the agent and it showed me this errors.

So I tried to install locally and the try to import the machines, but locally I saw this error,
http://www.dropmocks.com/mSIJS

and when I was importing the machine I saw this one too
http://www.dropmocks.com/mSJUj

All the operation systems are Windows Server 2008 Standard 32 bits.

I saw that during the installation process, the 9876 TCP port should be opened by the installation process itself, but I don't know if there is any other port that I have to open too.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance and regards.

Hi all,

I've deactivated the Windows firewall on the two implicated servers and I've got the same importing error.

Thanks in advance again and regards.

Hello Rafael,

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice to have you with us! I understand your concern, and will do my best to help you.

Thank you for the error screenshots attached. Usually WMI error appears when the user under which Acronis Managed Machine Service (MMS) is started is not a member of Administrators group. We have this issue described and solved in this KB article, please follow its instructions. Generally, you will need either to add MMS user to the Domain Admins or change the User.

Should the issue remain, please gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Hi Yana,

you were right and this was a permission problem. I didn't realize that I was informed I should use a domain account with permission on the computers.

I reinstalled all with the correct account and have had no problems with the server detection.

Now, I'll try to configure the backup policies.

Thanks for your answer and regards.
