PXE Boot not working
I've come across a problem that I suspect may be Cisco PIX related rather than Acronis but thought I would run it by you guys anyway.
I am running build 11105 of Advanced Workstation and want to be able to boot via PXE on one of my laptops. However the laptop never seems to get an IP address from my Cisco PIX.
What I have done to get around this is to disable the PXE service on my Vista machine that has AW installed, and running TFTPD32 with DHCP and PXE enabled. I have this pointed at a folder containing the contents of a bootable USB key with the media installed. This boots fine, finding an address via TFTPD32, and loads the Acronis boot menu. However this doesn't show any products but if I press enter it loads normally and I can run backup tasks on it. The IP address that it has once the Agent has loaded is one from my PIX, not the one I specified in TFTPD32.
So I guess this is more PIX related to be fair. Anyone else here using a Cisco PIX care to comment?
