Quantum Super loader 3 with ABR 11
So i have a quantum superloader 3 LTO-4 scsi tape autoloader for my backup system.
The server has all acronis components installed as it is the license server, management server and a storage node for the tapes.
Acronis recognizes the autoloader and knows how many slots there are in the autoloader but it things they are all empty with no tapes in them. has anyone else experienced this or have some suggestions how how to fix.
The only thing i can think if is i have not put barcode labels on the tapes. This is used so the autoloader can but a name to the tapes inside it, but windows backup will still work with this just fine even if the tapes do not have lables

when i try and do an inventory i it fails and this is what i get.

I see the logs provided are reporting “The requested resource is in use” .
Please could you ensure there is no other backup software installed on your server and no windows services that are started that will try and access/use the tape library either. (You can check for the standard Removable storage service as well as any other backup applications you might have installed and try to “Stop” those services and try again.

Iventory has done so many times but still issue is remains ..

Thank you for your posting! First of all please make sure that your tape device is correctly recognised under Windows Device Management (without any warnings). I would also recommend re-attach the tape device and update firmware and drivers to the latest state.
