How can I get a task to run in version 11 (unscheduled or scheduled)? In the previous version I could have it to run a task, but I can't find any way in version 11 to run such a task.

Chapter 9 in the User's Guide has details on using scheduled tasks.

You should be able to get to the Scheduled Tasks window by clicking Management Tools in the main window and then selecting Manage Tasks in the Main group.
