The selected location does not contain backed up data.
I just created an image of my system (Windows 7 64-Bit) on my external hard drive using Acronis Backup and Recovery 11. The total image size is approximately 12 GB, which I split in half in order to burn the images to an 8.5 GB Dual Layer DVD. Acronis 11 creates multiple .lck files, a .xml file, .tib files, and a Catalog folder. I burned the ENTIRE folder that contains all these files, but when I used the Acronis 11 boot CD to restore and I browse to the folder on the DVD, I get the following message: "The selected location does not contain backed up data." Am I missing something on the restore? Note that when I restore from the external hard drive, the backed up data IS visible and can be restored successfully.

I copied the entire folder (which included the split images) onto my desktop. I made a duplicate copy of that same folder on the desktop. The first folder contained everything except for the 2nd image, which I deleted. The second folder contained everything as well except for the 1st image, which I deleted. So, each image was now in a separate folder and each folder contained the same .lck, .xml, and catolog files.
