Stop backup task when not finished within set period of time

Thread needs solution

Is there a way to configure Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 to stop running tak if it is not sucessfull so that other tasks can run? I have a backup to a USB drive and another one to a network share. When one of them can't finish (disk full, network connection not available, and so on), it sits there waiting for a response, and nothing is getting backed up in the menwhile. I would like to stop that task so that the next one can start. That way if the USB drive is full, I still have a backup available at another location. In Backup Exec, the option was called "Cancel backup job if not completed within..... hours".
This would make our backups much more resilient.

Related problem is with missed tasks. Lets say my backup to USB should run every hour, but the USB drive is full. The job is "waiting for response". We respond cancel or retry. The missed jobs start running immediatelly, and can't be stopped by the Stop button. There is no way to get to the task and edit it to eliminate the problem (adjust retention policies, for instance), or to force the other tasks to run first (if, for instance, the failed task was Data only and the other task is System and data).

Can I tweak the program to avoid this?

Thanks,

Pavla
