TCP Port 3333

Thread needs solution

While attempting to upgrade one of my servers from version 9.1 to 10 it was discovered that Acronis was taking control of TCP port 3333. This is a problem in being that this is also the port that is used for DICOM images on this server. Can anyone tell me what piece of Acronis is using this port and is there a way that Acronis can be instructed to use another TCP port?

Thank you

Hello Jay,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Acronis Forum. I will certainly help you with this issue.

Most likely you will need to reconfigure your firewall because our software uses the following defaults ports. Should you need immediate help you can always contact our Support team.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

It is not the firewall, it is disable on the server anyway. The server functioned fine untill the upgrade of Acronis was installed and it was only then that the servers main application lost control of port 3333. The only way we could get control back was to uninstall Acronis.
