Universal Restore - Bluescreen upon bootup

Thread needs solution

Hi, I need some help.

I have read and re-read the user guide for Universal Restore.

I have a couple of different models of Dell's that I have Acronis Images for. Finally got around to messing with Universal Restore (got it along with Backup and Recover 10) and I'm having problems booting too machines.

I've followed this guide: http://kb.acronis.com/content/4000 with no success. I get a BSOD with the 0x0000007B code no matter what I do or what driver I use.

I can't boot to safemode or regular mode. I included the chipset drivers for all of my models (Dell doesn't have specific storage drivers just for the HDD's). Why won't it work?

Please help!

I managed to get the PC to boot by changing the setting in the BIOS for the HD from AHCI/ITTR to ATA but now I have no control over the mouse, etc.

Also, once I go into device manager, even though I included the chipset drivers for all of my models, the CPU and like 20 other devices have no drivers. I was thinking Universal Restore would just not be able to do the Audio, Video, and NIC drivers and similar ones. The CPU driver is one of the most important ones!

What am I doing wrong?
