Uprading Acronis - issue with management server

Thread needs solution

We were using Acronis backup and recovery 10 version 12457. I am in the processing of upgrading to the latest build. We are backing up about 60 servers through this management server at the moment.

My first step was to upgrade the management server to 12497. All the clients were still at 12457 so I planned a push through group policy. We run Windows Server 2008 R2.

The update to the client is slowly getting pushed. I enabled it last night for about 15 server and now have about 8 with the new client. I put all the remaining servers into that GPO group to get the update.

Here is the problem. As the client gets updated, that server loses communication with the management server. When I view the machines, the ones with the updated client are grayed out and I cannot do things like change license or initiate a backup/recovery option through the AMS console. I can connect to the machine through the console and bring up its dashboard. I can then run backups/restore from there.

The servers with the 12457 client are continually communicating with the management server. The updated client shows the last connection in my case as being 18 hours ago. The one server I updated manually from the same package is communicating with no issues.
