Exchange backup failure

I am unable to perform a backup of Exchange on my virtual server. I am using a trial license of vmProtect 7.0.5155 on ESXi 5 and vCenter. The virtual server is Windows 2003 Standard x64 with Exchange 2007 Server.

Here is one of the errors:

Attached is the Log file. I can backup the server alone without the Exchange data, but when I try to get Exchange it fails. Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to test the viability of this system soon. Thanks.

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Forum.

This issue is caused by inability to enumerate the Exchange transaction logs in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Mailbox\First Storage Group\ . There are 2 possible reasons for this: the logs are corrupted inside the base full archive (if you are trying to create an incremental backup), or the logs are somehow inconsistent inside the guest OS (i.e. on the Exchange server) due to file system errors

Please follow the below steps to reveal the issue:
1.    Create a new Exchange-aware backup task specifying a new backup archive name (so that there was a full backup performed).
2.    If the problem still persists then perform Start->Run->”chkdsk C: /F” on the Exchange machine and check the results.
